Sola Wood Flowers are made mainly from a plant called Cassava which is a woody shrub (also sometimes called Yuca, not to be confused with Yucca). The Cassava root is a major source of carbohydrate and can be dried to a powder to create tapioca.
These are artificial flowers that remain beautiful forever. Each flower is hand made and hand painted/dyed, no two look alike.
These flowers arrangements can be centerpieces, bridal bouquets, bridesmaids bouquets, boutonnières, wreaths, ceremony arrangements or anything you want.
We discuss everything you need and create a quote. You pay 50% at the signing of the quote.
We also decide on flowers and fillers at this time.
I ask each couple go to your local Home Depot and choose the colours you would like your flowers to be. If you can't find a match, just bring in a physical object for them to scan & create a custom colour match!
I'll keep you updated as I work, with pictures for approval.
I'll aim to give you the order 3 weeks prior to the wedding. You can choose to either pick it up, or have it shipped at your expense.
I love this bouquet, although simple and classic, the bride was able to make it her own by adding tartan paper flowers and a tartan ribbon.
I really enjoyed teaming up with other wedding vendors to do a stylized shoot. I was able to create something completely unique and I had creative control (which is not usually the case!)
It was one of my very first wedding orders. I was beyond nervous but excited at the same time. This photo just reminds me of when I first started doing weddings and where I am today.
