Sola Wood Flowers are made mainly from a plant called Cassava which is a woody shrub (also sometimes called Yuca, not to be confused with Yucca). The Cassava root is a major source of carbohydrates and can be dried to a powder to create tapioca. I am a sola wood flower florist!

Since these are artificial they will last a lifetime.

You can store them in a box as long as you have punched holes in it. The flowers need air circulation or they are at risk of growing mold. 

Yes and no. If you put the arrangement outside you will need to put a UV sealant on the flowers in order to preserve the color. Also, since they are wood they can be damaged in severe weather. It is best to take them inside during the harsher seasons. If they get wet you will need to allow them to dry for 48 hours in a well-ventilated area.

No, but you can add oil to make them smell however you please! Just be sure to put them UNDER the petals, so the oil doesn't cause any discoloration in the dye.

IDEALLY at least 6-9 months before the wedding. This gives us time to align our schedule around other weddings (and orders in general) and so you can lock in our current prices.
